Biography

Simon F Mizyed, PA-C

Simon was raised in Orange County, CA. Following his high school graduation in 1987, he obtained his Associates degree in Electronic Engineering in 1990 which led him into his first career working as an Electro-Mechanical Technician with Pitney Bowes & Xerox until 1999.

He then obtained his Bachelors of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine in the field of Chemistry in 1999. Immediately following his graduation, he moved to West Virginia to attend a Physician Assistant Program at Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, WV. His clinical rotations were completed in Marion, OH which then led to his graduation in 2002.

Following graduation he moved to Peoria, Illinois where he was able to specialize in Orthopedic Surgery working with a group of 10 surgeons from 2002 through 2007.

In 2007, Simon and his wife decided to move back to California in order to be closer to family and subsequently decided to make Fresno their home. He started with SPOC in August of 2007 and is currently specializing in the hand and upper extremity with Cary Tanner, MD and Toby Johnson, MD.

Simon and his wife, Kerri, live in Fresno. They enjoy spending time together, travelling, taking road trips, and working on household projects.
