Patient Testimonials

"I have had many surgeries in your facility. At the age of 83, all of them have been successful and left me healed and pain free. I hope other people will enjoy the services of dedicated and skilled doctors the same as I have. I've had both knees repaired, a broken arm needing an external fixative, fractured wrist and ankle as well as three surgeries requiring anesthesia with great outcomes. I will have further surgeries as needed. Thank you for taking such good care of me." --Ruth P.

"The end of 2012, it became very painful and hard to work due to hip pain. I had MRI's previously, and Dr Ghazal said they needed to be replaced. At the end of December and the beginning of February, I had both hips replaced. Dr Ghazal's office was so kind and accommodating. From checking on insurance coverage to getting samples, EVERYTHING was considered with my best interest in mind. I can't say enough good about my first visit. I have osteoarthritis so I know I will need this facility in the future for other painful joints. There isn't anywhere else I would go. Even in my doctor's trying times in his own life, he has made sure my needs were taken care of. I recommend their care to everyone I meet. I'm thankful for the ability to continue to work and be active. Thank you all!" --Gail K.

"Dr. Ghazal was fantastic. My knee had been hurting so badly it brought tears to my eyes when I walked. I was afraid I would be in even more pain right after surgery. I spoke to Dr. Ghazal at the surgery center before my surgery and he reassured me that my pain would be managed. He said he didn't want me to be afraid. I did not need to worry. He was right. I had much less pain right after surgery than before. He never had me use crutches and I was in physical therapy within three days. I would recommend Dr. Ghazal to anyone needing knee surgery. Thank you Dr. Ghazal and staff. You are the best." -- Kristen O.

"I had left knee replacement two years ago. My experience with Dr. Ghazal and his entire staff has been positive from the first visit. The surgery and recovery went well and to this day have no issues. Of course I was scared to death because of my fear of surgery. That was soon forgotten and I have enjoyed two years of success. Sierra Pacific Orthopedics is number one in my book and I have recommended them to many people I have come in contact with and in need of the same treatment I needed." -- Linda P.

"I've been told by friends that are in the medical field that this is the place to go and Dr. Ghazal is one of the best in the area. I feel a lot better that he is a fellow biker and as with any surgery most of his success lies with me doing my part to rehabilitate my knee. I can't wait to be able to live without the pain of bone on bone joints and the ability to walk and stand so I can have an adventurous retirement instead of just setting around wasting precious life. I will work hard to get back to a normal life. Thanks to all of his staff everyone has been wonderful so far." -- Rodney B.

"Where can I begin to express my appreciation for Dr. Ghazal? I will start by saying that he gave me hope when I had none. He provided me an alternative treatment that others did not offer. He provided me with the most technologically advanced treatment and encouraged me that I can improve. When I met with Dr. Ghazal he reviewed my case and X-rays with me. He explained to me about a procedure that used my own blood to extract platelets and concentrate them down and then inject them into my hip to promote healing.  I tried it and after a few days I felt relief.  I also followed his specific instructions on activities to avoid that would aggravate my condition. I had significant pain relief after my treatment with Dr. Ghazal and have been able to enjoy activities such as dirt bike riding, hiking, and skiing again. I don’t run anymore as he advised me against it and I am very happy with all I can do now after my treatment. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ghazal for anyone with an orthopedic problem even when you have been told that nothing else can be done for you. He proved them wrong!" -- Valerie G.

"I learned of Dr. Ghazal from my sister in law Kip Winters. She and my brother have both been successfully treated by Dr. Ghazal. My husband, Ken Nye then came to Dr. Ghazal for his knee surgery, which made me decide to try out this successful doctor!! Everyone I have encountered at Sierra Pacific Orthopedics has been friendly and courteous. My procedure to have three shots in my knee went well and so far so good!! Thank you." -- Sherry N.

"I had a good experience at the surgical center. Everyone I came in contact with was very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend Fresno Surgical Center to anyone that asks." -- Charles S.

"The staff was great. They were very thoughtful, kind, and considerate to my concerns about my shoulder surgery. It went well and as they said the results were right on target. I listened to the dos and don’ts and because of this my recovery went well. Once again thank you." -- Zandra N.

"Everyone was very friendly and caring. Hip pain went away, for the moment, and feeling somewhat human again. Very professional services and treatment. Physicians and staff were very friendly and courteous. I like the way the staff made contact by way of a phone call and e-mail notice of any upcoming appointments. Will definitely continue to visit Sierra Pacific Orthopedics for back and other related problems in the future." -- Anthony S.
