Patient Reviews

"Any of the doctors or their assistants that I have seen over the years, have been knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. They have explained many things to me concerning my problems. As of now, I would not and will not see any other orthopedic office here in Fresno." -- Doris P.

"My visits to the offices have been good experiences. Doctors are very professional, each taking time to look me in the eyes while talking to me. They explain things so that I understand what is going on. The staff is helpful and friendly." -- Margie C.

"Dr. Tanner has been treating problem with my hands. First my left hand was numb in three fingers including my thumb. He did surgery on my hand, which was very successful. I later developed trigger fingers, one on each hand, and he treated them with injections, which was also successful. In the meantime, I had developed MAJOR pain in my right shoulder and asked him to help me. He called in Dr. Johnson. Dr. Johnson gave me an injection in my shoulder and prescribed some therapy, which I am doing at this time. The pain has disappeared from my shoulder. Both doctors have been very caring and I feel that I have had absolutely great care from both. The treatment is on going but I am confident that I will continue to receive the kind of care that that Sierra Pacific Orthopedics is known for." -- Barbara W.

"I have had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Dunklin, Dr. Ghazal, Dr. Johnson, Dr. Hanson, and Dr. Glaser for fractures in various places. My surgeries included two for a torn meniscus, one external fixator for fracture of arm and wrist.  Six months ago, I fractured my ankle and foot, which meant spending three months in a boot.  Two weeks ago, I fractured my fibula, ankle and foot again.  I am going to undergo a complete shoulder replacement as soon as I recover.  I am eighty-four years old and trip a lot. All of the treatment and surgeries have been such a pleasant experience by caring and sensitive physicians.

The surgery wing is the best. They have kind and gentle nurses with lovely surroundings that made my stay enjoyable. I sent candy to the staff after my surgery because they were so special. I was apprehensive and fearful but they knew how to comfort me. We are so blessed to have such skilled orthopedist right here in Fresno. Please accept my heartfelt gratitude." -- Ruth P.

"The staff was very pleasant and infomative.  The surgery went very well." --Jeffrey H.

"We have both received excellent care from all the doctors we have seen. The employees are always courteous and listen to our requests. The doctors keep current with the latest advances, which gives us confidence in their advice for treatment." --Tommy & Sharon K.

"I have had many surgeries in your facility. At the age of 83, all of them have been successful and left me healed and pain free. I hope other people will enjoy the services of dedicated and skilled doctors the same as I have. I've had both knees repaired, a broken arm needing an external fixative, fractured wrist and ankle as well as three surgeries requiring anesthesia with great outcomes. I will have further surgeries as needed. Thank you for taking such good care of me." --Ruth P.

"I have had the pleasure of meeting three of the doctors. In 2000, Dr. Glaser for my ankle; in 2012, Dr. Johnson for my shoulder; and now, Dr. Taylor for my leg. I have liked all of them very much. I thank them for their great care and kindness to me. " --Jane K.

"As of this date, I'm very happy with my doctors. Before coming to SPOC, I could hardly walk because my knees were so bad. I saw Dr. Dunklin and he did the complete knee replacement on both knees a year apart. Now I've got complete freedom in going where I want and being able to walk and climb stairs. I haven't  mastered the art of running yet, but I will. Dr. Johnson was great when I had a cyst on my finger. He got rid of it in one visit. Dr. Monetelone—what can I say? I love him. He has treated me for so many things. He is kind, and he listens to me. Thank you." --Darlene B.

"All in all, as pleasant an experience as surgery can be." --Dan M.
