for your care. The field of Hand Surgery includes the care of disorders
from the elbow to the fingertips including:
- Tendon problems such as tennis elbow, acute sports injuries, and traumatic tendon lacerations
- Fractures from the elbow to the small bones of the hand
- Arthritic problems including correction of deformities and joint replacements
- Nerve compression syndromes such as carpal tunnel syndrome
At the Sierra Pacific Orthopedic & Spine Center, surgeons with special interest, education and commitment to care of the upper extremity work directly with sports and rehabilitation specialists to care for their patients. Advanced diagnostic modalities such as MRI scanning and wrist arthroscopy are present on-site at the facility.
