Simon is an Orange County native with a bachelor of science degree in the field of chemistry from the University of California, Irvine. He also holds a medical sciences degree from Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, West Virginia. Upon completing the Physician Assistant Program at Alderson-Broaddus College, he specialized in orthopaedic surgery for five years before joining the SPOC team in 2007.
Simon is currently specializing in the hand and upper extremity with Doctors Cary Tanner, Toby Johnson, and Alex Majors.
Simon is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Physicians Assistants in Orthopaedic Surgery organization. He is also a certified Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support provider.
Simon and his wife, Kerri, live in Fresno and enjoy traveling and finishing household projects.
