Francis E. Glaser, M.D.
Dr. Glaser is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in foot and ankle. His practice encompasses sports medicine, adult reconstructive, and trauma surgery.
He serves as a team physician for California State University at Fresno and is a consulting physician for Fresno Pacific University. Dr. Glaser is trained in leading-edge orthopaedic techniques including ankle replacement surgery, arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery, complex fracture care, and tendon reconstruction surgery. He also treats common foot problems including bunions, hammer toes, neuromas, and plantar fasciitis.
Dr. Glaser graduated from Stanford University in 1989 with B.S. and M.S. degrees in biological sciences. He earned his M.D. from the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine in 1994.
Dr. Glaser completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of California, Irvine in 1999. Following this, he performed a fellowship in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery with Roger A. Mann, M.D. in Oakland, California.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
A native of Fresno, Dr. Glaser was valedictorian at Bullard High School in 1985. Dr. Glaser enjoys spending time with his family, and cycling, camping, photography, skiing, and tennis.
