Read MoreDr. Michele Schulz graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California School of Medicine.
Dr. Schulz completed her orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, Irvine. Following this, she joined the faculty at the University of California, Irvine to practice orthopedic surgery and do research in the area of biomechanics of the knee. Dr. Schulz moved back to her hometown of Fresno to join Sierra Pacific Orthopedics in 2002. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the California Orthopaedic Association, and the Western Orthopaedic Association. She is board-certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Schulz’s orthopedic practice is focused on sports-related injuries as well as adult reconstructive surgery, including hip and knee joint replacements. She has enhanced her practice by starting The Wellness Center at Sierra Pacific Orthopedics to aid patients in weight loss and offer non-invasive treatments for strengthening and toning the body.
In addition to her extensive medical commitments, Dr. Schulz enjoys tennis, skiing, cycling, running, and cooking.
