"On May 2, 2012, Dr. Glaser saw me for the first time and told me I had hemiparesis, which is paralysis of one side of the body, and he said it was affecting my lower left side of my body. On May 17, 2012, Dr. Glaser performed an achilles tendon lengthening on my left foot that is the best thing that could have ever happened. Now I can move my foot and wiggle my toes more then I have ever been able too. Also I can walk without tip toeing and bend my ankle with the help of an AFO during the day and a night brace at night so my foot does not go back into contracture. It will be six months since my surgery on November 17, 2012 and I'm very happy!!!!!" -- Chelsi L.
