Dr. Beau Kalmes, Sierra Pacific Orthopedics’ Newest Specialist, Is Now Seeing Patients

Dr. Beau Kalmes, fellowship-trained primary care doctor, has joined Sierra Pacific Orthopedics. Specializing in primary care, family medicine as well as nonoperative sports medicine, Dr. Kalmes is available to see patients safely for a safe appointment at the practice’s Herndon Campus at 1630 E. As a fellowship-trained primary care doctor, Dr. Kalmes specializes in the latest evidence-based, conservative and minimally invasive treatment therapies to help athletes and active individuals regain their function and strength after injury. His expertise includes primary care and family medicine, osteopathic manipulative therapy, trigger point injections, musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostics and guided injections as well as orthobiologic treatments, such as platelet-rich plasma injections.

Dr. Kalmes earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro University Nevada in Henderson. He went on to complete his residency training in family medicine at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, North Carolina. After his residency, Dr. Kalmes pursued additional subspecialty training in sports medicine and completed an exclusive, yearlong fellowship at LECOM Health in Erie, Pennsylvania.
