The following are reviews from patients of Dr. Majors.
  • “Dr. Majors is one of my all-time favorite providers. He is very informative, extremely patient, and always compassionate and understanding. He has a way about him that makes you feel like he truly cares. I especially appreciate that he takes the time, although he is extremely busy, to answer all my over-inquisitive questions and breaks down the answers to make them easily understandable. I really appreciate his approach. When I had hands surgery a few years back, it was his demeanor that helped me to relax and stay calm before being wheeled into the surgery room. Dr. Majors should be a mentor for any young doctors in training on how to interact with their patients. He is a true professional in all aspects of health care!”

  • “I developed carpal tunnel syndrome two years ago. After physical therapy treatment things improved but still problems. After visiting Dr. Majors, my carpal tunnel continues to improve; yet there is just enough discomfort that I haven't stopped my treatment program. I have been approved for surgery, yet it looks as though I may be able to avoid surgery, after consultations and treatments at Sierra Pacific Orthopedics.”

  • “After a slip and fall, I suffered a gruesome laceration to my palm and an uncommon dislocation of my finger. Two different medical facilities X-rayed my hand before I came to see Dr. Majors, and neither facility was able to discover the dislocation. Dr. Majors not only immediately discovered the dislocation, but also performed surgery through the laceration on my palm, so as not to create an additional scar on my hand. My injury occurred in April 2012, and after several physical therapy sessions with Nicki in Sierra Pacific Orthopedics’ rehabilitation center, I had full range of motion and no pain in my hand by June 2012. As a father, coach, and a person who types and writes extensively at work, I cannot thank Dr. Majors and Sierra Pacific Orthopedics’ staff enough for their work.”

    – Jesse M.

  • “I was unable to consistently control and had a loss of feeling in my right hand. I also suffered intermittent pain in the same hand. Dr. Majors was able to quickly diagnose the issue and gave me a solution that virtually eliminated all of my symptoms. Thanks Dr. Majors!”

    – Carrie T.

  • “Dr. Majors and staff were very kind and professional. He explained everything to me in a thorough manner. I was very pleased with my experience at Sierra Pacific Orthopedics and will certainly share my experience with my primary care doctor and recommend this facility to others.”

  • “Dr. Alexander Majors has done a terrific job in care of my injury. The orthopedic specialist in my city referred me to Sierra Pacific Orthopedics for a second opinion. I felt comfortable as I walked down the hallway that displayed many pictures of athletes whom had been treated at the Practice, which gave me comfort knowing that my injury would not be judged. Dr. Majors knew what needed to take place in order to have the best outcome. He offered several different treatment plans, but advised what he thought would be best for me. I was nervous prior to my surgery, but the team put me at ease with professional and friendly care. There are so many people included in the care team, I just want to say thank you to the team for their hard work and dedication.”

  • “My left hand, little finger, had developed a restriction, pulling the little finger and the one next to it down into a closed position.  This was aggravating and caused difficulty in my use of the computer at my job.  Since I mostly compose and modify legal documents, it was a condition that had to be corrected. "Upon my first visit, the problem was diagnosed as Dupuytren's contracture, an inherited problem. I elected to have a procedure where a chemical injection is made into the restriction, which after two days, resulted in the destruction of the restriction that was causing the fingers to be in a semi-closed position.  After one week, I have regained full use of the hand and can place my palm flat on a table with fingers fully extended. The procedure was quick, though with some pain, and performed by a competent and positive-thinking physician; Dr. Alexander Majors. Thank you.”

    – Warren W.

  • “I fell at work and fractured my 5th metacarpal. Very frustrating trying to work as an RN and not use your left hand!! Everybody at Sierra Pacific Orthopedics was friendly, efficient, and caring—a wonderful experience for me!!”

    – Diana K.

  • “I am just recently recovering from trigger-finger surgery.  I know that this surgery is not as extreme as some others but the discomfort and pain was sometimes unbearable and mostly annoying.  Thanks to Dr. Majors, the nurses, and anesthesiologist at Summit Regional Medical Center, I have made a full recovery.”

    – Norma M.

  • “When I first visited Dr. Majors, I explained that I was a very active person with a lot of responsibilities and that I was looking for the fastest way to recover from my situation. Dr. Majors informed me of my options and I chose the option that I felt was best for me and everything happened very fast to make it happen. I am very pleased with the outcome of everything. I would like to thank the staff for an awesome experience and I would refer anyone I know to Sierra Pacific Orthopedics.”

  • “My daughter's first day back at softball practice, she broke her thumb. Well little did we know that she broke the part off that holds the ligament in place. She was seen in the office on a Monday and she had surgery on Tuesday. When or where do you ever get service like that? All of the nurses were very kind and helpful. My daughter is deathly afraid of needles and they kept her calm and laughing. I was very pleased with the urgency of this facility and the care that my daughter has received. I would recommend Sierra Pacific Orthopedics to anyone, especially those who like services to be above and beyond. She is now on her way to a full recovery thanks to Sierra Pacific Orthopedics!”

  • “I had hand surgery for trigger finger on 11/5/2013 [left hand] and 12/10/2013 [right hand] by Dr. Majors. Both experiences were extremely satisfying. The doctor and his staff are all friendly, professional, and warm persons, who are dedicated to their profession and the patience needs.  I was very happy and satisfied with the service I received and would recommend Sierra Pacific Orthopedics very highly.”

  • “In the middle of the night on Father’s Day 2014, I was headed to the bathroom. Apparently, with my eyes at "half mast," I slammed into the right side doorjamb. I spun around and went down on my right side, crushing my humerus, just below the shoulder. This is one of the worst bones to break. I was in a sling for five weeks or so, beginning a six-week physical therapy program. Although I never actually saw the doctor, the PA’s I saw were great. Steve Goss was whom I saw mostly, as well as Chris. The folks in the therapy department from Angie, Margaret and Amy at the front desk to my therapist Lindsey and her helpers Vika, Alexis and ALL the other folks in the physical therapy department were awesome. I now have much greater mobility and range-of-motion, although I still have pain, which I was told I could have up to a year. I have a regimen of exercises I continue to perform at home. All in all, Sierra Pacific Orthopedics is an awesome facility, with a great and highly qualified bunch of professionals!”

  • “The best doctors and staff. I suffered with pain and couldn't make a fist. Saw two other doctors and Dr. Majors gave me a shot and fixed it.   Thanks so much. Telling all my friends.”

  • “Dr. Majors is very thorough. Encourages me to ask questions if I have a concern. He did my hand, arm and wrist reconstruction. Did an excellent job. Hoping that I do not break anything else but, if I do I would definitely go to him! ”

  • “My experience at this facility with Dr. Majors, was exceptional. I have been to two other places, for exactly the same problem, and I have had a very unsatisfactory experience. So I would like to thank him and his wonderful staff for all the great care they gave me.”

  • “What a great experience, check in went smoothly, surgery prep was very professional, pre-op went very well and what I liked the best...everyone listened carefully to what I needed, and what I wanted. Everyone's sense of humor lent to an enjoyable surgery. When I asked for just a nerve block and NO other anesthesia for my Carpal Tunnel and Ulnar Nerve Release surgeries my wishes were honored with full explanation of what I could feel during the procedure. The Anesthesiologist monitored my progress carefully, Doctor Majors fully explained everything that was going on and the surgery team also made sure I was comfortable...what a great team and loved the levity during the procedure. The one hour Post-Op went very smoothly, if just a bit long, almost made me miss my Calzone lunch at DiCicco's...just kidding!!!!! I currently live in Utah, but WILL return for future surgeries if needed!!!!! Keep up the great work, you guys are the best!!!!! ”

  • “I initially came to your office for a nerve problem in my right hand due to a car accident. Then after leaving my initial appointment I damaged my left hand in another car accident. Dr. Majors, the PA's and the staff treated me well and explained all my options with my hands. At first I was a little apprehensive about having surgery on both arms at the same time but after the surgery was done I was completely happy with my results. I cannot thank your staff enough for all of the time and care they gave to me during my ordeal. Now, I am back to work and living life to the fullest, without all the pain I was experiencing before.”

  • “I had had my right shoulder operated on by Dr. Eric Hansen 3 years ago. The quality of care and the overall repair of my shoulder was a miracle!! Had had 2 prior surgeries and by the time I saw the doctor, I thought I was never going to have full range of motion again. So, when I started having severe pain on my left hand, wrist, and arm, I waited for an entire year and a half to be able to go back to Sierra Pacific Orthopedics. Dr. Majors was truly amazing. Again, the quality of care from all areas of the facility is without flaw. Everyone is personable, knowledgeable, and an expert in what they do. I am constantly referring family and friends. I love them!!”
