Story Description As a former culinary instructor and lifelong sports enthusiast, Jim had spent decades on his feet. Those years left him with bone-on-bone pain and relying on daily ibuprofen just to get by. When his discomfort began to affect his ability to stay active, Jim knew it was time for a change.

Finally, after careful consideration and building his strength, Jim underwent a bilateral knee replacement performed by fellowship-trained joint replacement specialist Dr. Christopher Glezos in January 2020.

Recovery wasn’t easy, but Jim stayed the course. Now, without pain and off medication, he enjoys cycling, swimming, and walking. Most importantly, he cherishes keeping up with his six grandchildren.
