Dr. Francis Glaser is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in foot and ankle. As a foot and ankle doctor in Fresno, California, his practice encompasses sports medicine, adult reconstructive, and trauma surgery.

He serves as the head team physician for the Fresno State University men’s basketball team and is a consulting physician for Fresno Pacific University. Dr. Glaser is trained in cutting-edge orthopedic techniques, including ankle replacement surgery, arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery, complex fracture care, and tendon reconstruction surgery. He also treats common foot problems, including bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, and plantar fasciitis.

Dr. Glaser graduated from Stanford University in 1989 with Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in biological sciences. He earned his M.D. from the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine in 1994.

Dr. Glaser completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, Irvine in 1999. Following this, he performed a fellowship in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery with Roger A. Mann, M.D., in Oakland, California.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society. Dr. Glaser is also an assistant clinical professor and the Director of Foot/Ankle for the UCSF Fresno Orthopaedic Surgery residency program.

A native of Fresno, Dr. Glaser was valedictorian at Bullard High School in 1985. Dr. Glaser enjoys spending time with his family, camping, photography, skiing, and tennis. He is actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America.
