“I have been seeing Dr. Thomas off and on for my right knee over the past couple of years. His office staff has always been right on top of things and quite pleasant and helpful. His assistant, Jessie, was always wonderful. His surgery scheduler, Patty, is marvelous! And Dr. Thomas??? What can I say except he is a healer. He has consistently gone "above and beyond the call of duty" to make sure I was healing properly from surgeries. I have lupus (SLE), and therefore, a lowered immune system, and any surgery is always risky for me. Dr. Thomas was right on top of the situation when I happened to contract a case of cellulitis a week 1 1/2 weeks after my knee replacement last summer, and he was on vacation out of state! He immediately contacted Dr. Reddy at St. Agnes and I was contacted by Dr. Reddy within 5 minutes and admitted right away. If I've had questions about my progress in physical therapy, or lack of (my lupus effects my large muscle groups), he has always been supportive. I couldn't ask for anyone better as a doctor! He will be missed these next 3 years!”

“After hearing all the grisly stories about knee replacement, I put off having surgery until I crawled in begging to be scheduled for surgery. My experience was remarkable, as I had surgery on Friday, came home on Sunday and on Monday I waited on and served refreshments to my visitors. Needless to say, my visitors were all amazed at my mobility--no walker being used. Four weeks to the day after surgery, I was in the bay area on a shopping trip. I have no problem whatsoever in straightening out nor bending my knee and my surgical scar is almost invisible. My only regret is putting off having this procedure and suffering as I did. I found Dr. Thomas, his surgical team and staff, to be most understanding and accommodating for my needs and comfort. So, to Dr. Thomas and his team, I say "thank you and send lots of kudos"!!!”

“I had disc surgery on my neck shortly after I moved to the Fresno/Clovis area. Everything went very well and I was pleased with the outcome. Then I had hand(s) surgery with Dr. Majors and again I was pleased with my results. I also saw Dr. Thomas about shoulder replacement repair and will wait for him to return in three years to continue if I can hold out until then. “I had been experiencing increasing pain and limited range of motion to my left shoulder. The pain became constant, limiting my activities and making sleep very difficult. I came to SPOC on the recommendation of a friend. My first appointment was with Dr. Michele Schulz who, after seeing my scans, referred me to see their most experienced shoulder surgeon Dr. Thomas W. Thomas. Upon meeting Dr. Thomas he reviewed my x-rays/ MRI and informed me my only option was a total shoulder replacement. He told me the procedure should definitely eliminate the pain and the ROM should improve. It has been 4 months since my surgery and I have not been disappointed. The pain is no more and with the help from their physical therapist Lindsey L. my ROM has vastly improved. I am a registered nurse and have worked in many hospital and clinical settings including perioperative. I highly recommend Sierra Pacific Orthopedics.”
