“Dr. Gill performed a total knee replacement just over a year ago. I am a 72-year-old man who had struggled with an increasing level of pain in my right knee. From my first interview with Dr. Gill and or his PA I was guided through this experience. My questions were answered in an understandable way. Options were presented along with their best medical advice. Over the years my condition continued to reduce my participation in those sports and activities that I have loved. Fortunately now I have been able to return to those activities...I credit Dr. Gill and his exceptional staff for enabling me to re-engage aspects of my life that had been dramatically diminished. I recommend their practice to anyone suffering from symptoms like mine. The physical therapy required after surgery was very painful, but my recovery has been 100% so it has been a worthwhile, if unpleasant, experience. “I had been experiencing increasing pain and limited range of motion to my left shoulder. The pain became constant, limiting my activities and making sleep very difficult. I came to SPOC on the recommendation of a friend. My first appointment was with Dr. Michele Schulz who, after seeing my scans, referred me to see their most experienced shoulder surgeon Dr. Thomas W. Thomas. Upon meeting Dr. Thomas he  reviewed my x-rays/ MRI and informed me my only option was a total shoulder replacement. He told me the procedure should definitely eliminate the pain and the ROM should improve. It has been 4 months since my surgery and I have not been disappointed. The pain is no more and with the help from their physical therapist Lindsey L. my ROM has vastly improved. I am a registered nurse and have worked in many hospital and clinical settings including perioperative. I highly recommend Sierra Pacific Orthopedics.”

They spent considerable time explaining my X-Ray & the basis for the various options along with expected outcomes. That said, I made appointments with my other doctors and received my appropriate medical clearances & scheduled my surgery according to my needs. I was given my hospital choices & picked the Surgery Center based on the previous two surgery experiences & excellent care I received. The follow-up care is good but ask lots of questions, they can't help you if you don't help yourself. write your questions down when you are in pain it can be hard so have family with you to ask also! DO WHAT THE DOCTOR SAYS TO DO! they know what they are talking about! The office staff is just as great! friendly even when someone is yelling at them ( so uncalled for & no it wasn't me) but they understand knowing how much pain people are in when  they come in. “I am a 72 year old male and in August 2016, five weeks after a Four-Level Fusion, I was without back pain and walking more than a half mile. Pain pills were reduced significantly and used only for continued healing pain, stiffness, and arthritis.
